Wonderful news in the HVAC world with testing reports coming out of Palm Beach Florida. RGF environmental group which manufactures in-door air quality products has released a third party report about one of their products called the REME Halo®. The report tells us that the air purifier has shown to inactivate 99.9% of the novel corona virus that causes Covid-19. The significance about this report is that it directly references Sars-Cov-2, and does not beat around the bush by referencing other families of corona viruses.
Since the spring of 2020 like many of our customers we too have been searching for a direct answer on this. Many reports since then have given us promising results from the use of UV light technology which has actually been used for many years in our industry but has not provided a direct answer until now.
If you are interested in the REME Halo®, we are familiar with the product and have installed this product far before the introduction of the novel corona virus. We are all in this together and are glad to know our trade can be effective in the battle for our in home health.
